There lived a jackal in a village that had eaten all the chickens in that village until one day the jackal thought to go to a priest for confession for sins committed against the chickens.
While at the confession room and while the pastor was absolving the jackal from the past sins, the last cock that had survived the genocide did not hesitate to crow. When the jackal now heard the cock crowing, the jackal asked the priest “please father, can you forgive me in advance!?” the priest asked why. “I am going to eat that one crowing as soon as I walk out of the confession room” replied the jackal.
